EXPLORE THERAPIST ROLES AT MASSAGE BEACH IBIZA

Massage Beach Ibiza offers professional beauty and massage therapists the opportunity to work in luxury hotel and spa venues across the island, with roles designed to suit different working styles, experience levels, and legal statuses.

All roles share the same core expectations: delivering exceptional treatments, engaging confidently with guests, and contributing to venue performance. The key difference lies in how you are paid and how you operate legally.

Employed Therapist

This is our preferred and most common role, ideal for therapists who want stability, structure, and the opportunity to earn more through performance.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES

As an employed therapist, you’ll work set shifts at assigned luxury venues, delivering treatments, engaging guests, and contributing to daily performance targets. You’ll be supported by Massage Beach systems, training, and management, while being trusted to work independently once established.

EARNINGS & STRUCTURE

  • Guaranteed base salary plus performance-based bonuses

  • Strong performers typically earn €2,000–€2,500+ gross per month, depending on results and venue demand

  • Structured working week (usually 5 days on, 2 days off)

  • Clear schedules, rotas, and expectations

In addition to salary and bonuses, therapists may also receive direct tips from guests, particularly in luxury hotel and spa environments. Tips are not guaranteed and vary by venue and client, but can provide a valuable additional boost for therapists who consistently deliver excellent experiences.

SUPPORT PROVIDED

  • Full training, protocols, and ongoing guidance

  • Custom booking and management system

  • Administrative support handled centrally

  • Professional standards without micromanagement

ACCOMMODATION OPTION (Limited)

A limited number of employed roles may include shared accommodation, with rent clearly deducted monthly from salary.

This option is subject to availability and timing and is designed to support therapists relocating to Ibiza.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Self-Employed Therapist

This role is suitable for experienced, genuinely self-employed therapists who are legally able to operate in Spain and prefer to manage their work independently, with earnings fully driven by performance.

This is not our main focus, but we work with a limited number of self-employed professionals where it is legally viable and operationally appropriate.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES

As a self-employed therapist, you’ll deliver treatments at assigned luxury hotel venues, engage guests, and build bookings through your professionalism and guest interaction.

You remain independent, while working within Massage Beach venues and systems to ensure a consistent guest experience and smooth daily operations.

EARNINGS & STRUCTURE

  • Paid a percentage of each treatment completed

  • Earnings are performance-based and gross (before tax)

  • High-performing self-employed therapists may generate around €3,200 gross per month or more, depending on bookings, venue demand, and availability

  • All taxes, social security contributions, and legal declarations are the responsibility of the therapist

Earnings are not guaranteed and depend entirely on performance and demand.

SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT

While remaining independent, self-employed therapists are expected to work in a structured and reliable way that supports venue operations.

  • Availability is provided weekly, in advance

  • You choose the days you work, but must commit to full shifts once availability is confirmed

  • A reasonable level of consistency week to week is required to ensure venues are adequately staffed

This approach allows flexibility while maintaining professional standards across all venues.

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS

  • You must be legally self-employed in Spain, or able to work under an appropriate EU framework (e.g. A1 certificate where applicable)

  • This route is not suitable for therapists unsure about self-employment requirements in Spain

  • If you are uncertain about your legal status, we strongly recommend applying for the employed therapist role instead
