job specific questions

1.     What attracted you to apply for the job as a beauty therapist with Massage Beach?

Jade:

The advert I saw was a picture of women who had beaming smiles. When I read the job description, I immediately thought it was for me. To be able to take my skills and my passion to a new place and have a completely new experience lured me in.

Rosie:

I’ve been working in the beauty industry for five years, I wanted to find a job in Ibiza sticking to what I know best and what better way to do it, by working outside in the sunshine in such a wonderful environment.

2.     Why have you decided to pick to work with Massage Beach?

Jade:

Massage beach are the leading company in this industry & previous employee’s reviews were very reassuring.

Rosie:

From my research by looking on the website and Facebook page it seems like a very good company to work for and well established. I Also know a friend of a friend that has previously worked for the company whilst in Ibiza and recommend I went for the job role as she really enjoyed it!

3.     How did you hear about the beauty job and the company?

Jade:

Online, I saw a Facebook advert after googling about abroad beauty jobs.

Rosie:

A colleague that I am currently working with follows the Facebook page and mentioned it to me when she saw your posts about recruitment.

4.     Why did you decide to become a beauty therapist?

Jade:

I had a part time job in a beauty salon working on reception. I fell completely in love with how people left the salon feeling twice the person they came in as. Building a relationship with clients & seeing their satisfaction after their treatment was something I found appealing.

Rosie:

From a young age I’ve always been creative, as I got older, I used my creative skills more. For example, painting nails, doing make up etc. This has led onto learning other treatments. I enjoy working with people and customer satisfaction.

5. What experience/experiences would you love to gain this coming summer?

Jade:

Meeting likeminded people from different places & cultures. Doing the job I love, but in a completely new setting and environment to grow my confidence. Enhance my skills carrying out treatments with different products. Increase my independence and overall confidence.

Rosie:

Meeting and working with a whole new range of people from different places. I feel each salon/spa always has their own take on things so I’d like to see if I can pick up new techniques and learn new things.

6.     How do you feel about representing Massage Beach as a beauty therapist?

Jade:

I feel proud & excited to get the chance to wear a Massage Beach uniform and to be working as a therapist under their name.

Rosie:

As said in a previous above answer the company is very well established and I feel proud to say that I can work with this company.

7.     What do you think you can bring to the role?
