Start to Ibiza 2018

There is a very well known saying ‘time flies when you’re having fun’! This could not be truer right now.

We are almost one month into our twelfth season in Ibiza at Massage beach. We have a fabulous group of therapists assembled. A combination of new and returning therapists and we have enjoyed a mix of both success and fun!

The weather has been lovely and the island has awakened from winter. Some of our team come to Ibiza a little earlier to enjoy the beaches; they are calm and quiet so they can recharge their batteries for the summer, ready for a new and exciting season!

Massage Beach provide our therapists’ with the opportunity to do the job they love, whilst living the time of their life on this beautiful Island.

A large number of our therapists arrived in Ibiza late April. They completed the Massage Beach training at the beginning of May. This enabled them to meet other therapists, get a greater insight into the role, and learn new skills to prepare for the summer ahead.

We have worked on the Massage Beach deep tissue massage routine. This is a treatment we are really passionate about and one we feel must be given in a specific way to receive the benefits of the treatment (there is nothing worse as a customer than paying for a treatment you are not fully satisfied with)! The therapists loved the training, the mix of massage movements, techniques and manipulations were very well received. We have assembled the routine from our expert knowledge of the industry from our vast experience. It is essential that the treatment is relaxing whilst relieving muscle tension. If you haven’t received one of our deep tissue massages it is a must try! It is one of our most popular treatments.

We started our first venue on the second of May and have been opening our beauty therapy treatment areas at venues for every week. We have started operations at Nikki Beach Ibiza today and are now operational at 36 different venues across the island.

The venues are getting busier and the therapists’ have settled into their new lifestyle. This consists of working poolside at their treatment area, in some of the most beautiful hotels in Ibiza; earning good money (and tips)!

When therapists’ have free time there is an endless amount of things to enjoy. The opening parties at the famous Ibiza discotheques are starting, amazing beaches and sea to enjoy, Ibiza city centre and the D’alt Villa is a must to explore, boat trips, water sports and so much more!

We currently have a team of 37 and we have more therapists’ arriving to start work with us over the coming weeks.

We are ecstatic at the start we have made to the summer and think this could be one of the best ones yet :-).
